another week done!Β another week closer to italy! can you believe as of today the countdown is only 90 days. we’re already 3/4 done march and april and may will zoom by since it will finally be warm out and then we’re going. i guess 90 days sounds like a long time, but when you’re trying to save money, get in shape (with an injured back no less) and learn italian, it almost doesn’t seem like it’s enough!

another week done also means another week closer to patio season! i’ve been all kinds of obsessed with finding inspiration to make our terrace incredible. we already have beautiful lights, but i’m thinking more comfy furniture, some soft paper lanterns, and beautiful tablescapes for dinner parties.

i’ve also been reading extensively about gardening – i really want to try and grow lettuce and tomatoes and a few other things along with my regular herbs. i’ve never really been known to have a green thumb, but i’m hoping that education will make up for that!

eat // a couple of years ago i took mr copper to montreal for his birthday. we ate at this amazing, wonderful restaurant called boullion bilk and i’ve wanted to go back ever since. thanks to my daily emails from eater.com, i just found an excuse to visit again! the same owners, are opening up a wine bar a couple doors down called cadet. guess i have to plan a weekend get away soon :).
